Montreal's Italian Week in search for volunteers!
The National Congress of Italian Canadians is proud to announce the 17th edition of Montreal’s Italian Week, which will take place from the 6th to the 15th of August 2010. Each year, the festival attracts over 500 000 visitors, while promoting the Italian culture in a culmination of events such as a fashion show, opera, and a Ferrari dream drive, as well as performances by various Italian-Canadian artists. This year’s edition of Montreal’s Italian Week will highlight the beauty and culture of the enchanting island of Sardinia. Festivities will take place in various venues of Montreal, such as Saint-Leonard, Notre-Dame-de-Grace and Lasalle, and will conclude in Little Italy on boul. St-Laurent, between St-Zotique and boul. Jean-Talon. The organizing team is looking for volunteers willing to participate in the festival, in a festive and friendly ambiance during the 13,14 and/or 15 of August 2010.
Some of the tasks are:
1. Supervising Little Italy, the Ferrari exposition, inflatable balloons, opera, fashion show
2. Selling raffle tickets
3. Answering people’s questions
4. Dressing the models during the fashion show
Volunteers receive free meals, beverages and a t-shirt!

After four incredible years of sold out award shows, the Stylus Group is proud to be back Bigger, Stronger, & Louder than ever with another installment of STYLUS SPINFEST! This annual event continues to increase public awareness of the dynamic music scene in Canada and sheds light on the significant contributions DJs have on pop culture.
The first ever seminar of its kind in Canada It Starts with the DJ goes on the road! Gathering a roster of renowned recording artists, producers, record label executives, celebrity DJs, and like minded enthusiasts from across the country together in one room to discuss relevant issues, and brainstorm solutions all under one roof.
We are looking for proficient, responsible, conference volunteers in Vancouver MAY 22 & Montreal MAY 23 for the following areas:

This study measures the association between stress hormones, personality and memory in healthy adults from the workforce population.
The study involves two brief visits to the Clinical Research Unit of the Douglas Hospital.
Participants will receive a monetary compensation for their participation in this study and health feedback.
